a couple weeks ago I posted a picture of a snake labeled and okeetee (phase) on the internet and I asked if anybody had any idea of if that label was correct. Any way as I have continued to keep going through older post on this site I found a post about a red factor/redcoat snake so it has extremely dark reds with beautiful black boarders I'm posting now to find out if anybody knows somebody who is specifically breeding these snakes apparently joe pierce used to be known for this phase but according to some post he has gone missing. If anybody could help me out with finding a breeder for this snake I would be very appreciative

this is a picture I found on an older post supposedly of Joe's snakes this is what I assume the redcoats would look like as they grow again if anybody can point me in the right direction I would be thankful

Well, he goes to prison periodically, you could check there...

Volunteer work? My mom used to do volunteer to help with the inmates on death row. She later got a job where she acted as a half way house for inmates that were released. Not sure its my cup of tea, but some like that kind of work.

:roflmao:

Seriously?

Macc, there are some breeders here whose snakes are as nice or even nicer than Joe's.
StrangeCargo's animals are amazing, as are iculatrs and a few other's.

Lee Abbott is considered by many to be the ultimate okeetee breeder, his line is even named after him. He is a member here too.

I have a pair of okeetees that honestly blow those away (at least in my opinion), but because of the market I wasn't going to breed them this year.

I also have a pair of really nice red normals, het sunkissed, charcoal and diffused that are breeding as we speak (they are locked right now).

The okeetees names are DayTony and DayTonia, and the normals are Mojo and Hypwhip. All of them have picture threads in my personal forum.

 Daytony and Daytonia are gorgeous snakes not as red as I was looking for but those are some gorgeous snakes would you happen to have any pics of them from when they were hatchlings I'm hoping my little guy Ceasar grows into some wonderful colors like that

I got them as adults. They (and their 18 babies) were raffle prizes at Daytona, and I spent a bundle trying to win them. I didn't.....but the person who did knew how much I wanted them and gave them to me!
Blew me away!!

I believe Lee Abbotts snakes have thick thick borders (the parents of my 2 came from him if memory serves), and Kathy Love focuses more on the redness. You might want to see what she is cooking up this year too.

That is awesome lucky. And will do

There's a lot of different red factor variables. Tom Tuttle has an adult Landrace Lava available right now. He's a blend of (homozygous for) redcoat, okeetee & lava. Here's a link to Tom
Graham and Don S and Lee Abbott all make some nice Okees.

Oh Yes!! Tony and Tonia came from Don S as babies I think. I think their parents or grandparents came from Lee.

Don's site:
cornsnake.net
Graham's site:
scexotics.com
Don took home all of Lee's '12 Okees at Daytona '12. Not everything is pictured, i's suggest being as specific (it's okay to be wordy) around what you are looking for when inquiring.
