Doggie is home...with a name too!

He's now Plato! He has had a very rough day with several hours travelling, meeting new people and animals and finally adjusting to a new home and family. We LOVE this boy. He is just the sweetest. Many thanks again to Emily and Mike for meeting me halfway with him. I took just a few pics, and as you can see....he's dog tired! I will take more soon of him awake, I promise! All I can say is that if he's awake, his tail is going a mile a minute! He seems very happy here too and loves us all.

We are all just thrilled....Plato as well I think!!!

He's sooo precious! Congrats, Eddie...ya done good! And who put the blankie on him? He just looks like such a sweetheart.

Thanks! Well, I put the blanket on him, but he cuddled himself completely under it like that!

Nice new family member , Eddie!
Thank you for being a rescuer. I'm glad to see this worked out for you and Plato. It looks like he's going to have a good life now.
We fostered dogs for a few years(that's why we have three). The best part of it was always taking them for their first "interview" with a prospective owner.

Aww he is too cute. If he is sleeping that well on the first day then he must feel very comfortable with you. I'm so glad he got a great home, congrats!

Major kudos to you on the rescue! I'm glad to see that this pup found his forever home with such caring people!!

I love the name plato!

He looks wonderful!

He's got the same collar that my Cordelia Jane has... :)

Congrats on the new addition, very exciting!

Thats awesome Eddie! He looks happy to have a place to sleep. Lol, do you have any other dogs? Or is he the only one?
