Facing a ...

... very difficult decision :(

I am sooo gutted but I am gonna have to give my scale babies up because I am moving from Jersey to Austria next week on Wednesday. Never thought I'd get so attached but they truly are my babies :(

Sorry just had to rant....

I'm so sorry you couldn't find a way of taking them with you. Non-reptile folk sometimes don't understand that you can get every bit as attached to a scaley, as you can to a furry.

I hope you manage to find good homes, so at least you can have peace of mind that they'll be OK. And you have the comfort of knowing that they won't miss you like a cat or dog would.

Is there no way you could take them? Maybe you could have a friend hold on to them for you until you're moved and settled in and then they could be shipped to you?

Thanks guys!

Yeah I have good homes for both of them, so at least I don't have to worry about that...

I wish I could take them with me but I would have to find a way of shipping them from Jersey to London then London to Austria. So realistically I really don't think there is a way of doing it unfortunately :(

They are both going to a mate of mine, so I will hopefully be able to still watch them "grow up".

I know they are not going to miss me, but giving away my first snakes is really hard on me. Oh well, right now I can not imagine replacing them but time will tell. I love the hobby too much to just walk away from reptiles all together.

You'll be in Continental Europe. Within reach of some very big reptile shows, and within shipping distance of some great people working with the newest morphs. I'd start working out the Euro exchange rate now, if I were you! ;)

There are definitely exporters you should look into contacting. Snakes are shipped to Europe all the time.

Thank you so much, you guys and girl here are wonderful :)

I will defo keep in touch, maybe even post a pic or two of Austria lol xx
