First Clutch Ever!!!

Nick,

nanci speaks the truth! The first season for me....Amid a tremendous amount of personal turmoil...i hatched 9 of the most perfect babies. Fast forward 1 yr. My Life,in a much better state of being. I hatch My first clutch this year...only 8 of 14 survived. So, yeah..Keep your head up..Keep on the positive side of things. Murphy can be a real S.O.B. And rest assured, he's watching...waiting...But the good always outweighs the bad.

Sorry it had to happen so soon for you. But, like nanci said, focus on the future and the rest of the babies.

Best of luck to you and the rest of your little ones! :)

Thanks guys. I hope the rest of the clutch is healthy. Time will tell. Really, thanks. I do feel a bit better now.

And yes, it was from the deflated egg Nanci.

You never know what the genetic lottery holds in store for you. Amel, Anery and motley are very common traits for snakes to be het for so I would not be surprised to see snows and or motleys from your pairing. Good Luck!

Thanks Chris, Thanks Cornboy!!! 5 are pipped, no one is out of the egg yet... Ughh, they are taking too long in there!!!! :) Pics once they are out!

So Nick- try to not bug them too much and make them exit the eggs before they are ready.

Hatchling # 1!!!! :D

Yupp, I know :) I set the box so I can see in the container so I don't have to keep opening it to see them... Well, the second snake to pip...well... HATCHED!!!!! An anery, as suspected, but there is a surprise later ;)

Well, here (s)he is. Weighs 3 grams, so quite small, as suspected. No cord attached, and has a really cool pattern. ON his/her dorsal pattern there is a "N" and a "H" Neat I think :p Probably a keeper. Well, here we go!

First, crappy cell phone pics. Then the good ones. :) Thanks for looking!
