Hi Everyone,
So I was told when I bought my snake to not handle him for the first week or so, then feed him, leave him alone for another 2 days, then start handling him again...
But since I've never owned a snake before and ended up with something that looks like this:
, I couldn't help myself, and I started handling him 2 days after i got him!
He seems perfectly fine with being handled, he's very calm, and doesn't show me any signs of being irritated... a couple of days ago, I fed him for the first time and he ate just fine... I left him alone after I fed him for about 1 day then couldn't help but play with him some more... hard-headed, i know:headbang:
What I'm wondering now is... Should I really quit handling him for another few days? Is it too late and I hurt him for life already? Should I just keep handling him for 10-15 minutes every day as long as he's not showing any signs of stress?
What will likely happen if I keep handling him?
If someone can explain to me what I'm supposed to do for the first 2 weeks of getting a corn snake, I'd really appreciate it... thanks a lot...
