First time breeding female sunglow motley and male ghost motley

She is looking pretty dull right now buy I'm pretty sure she is gravid. Can anyone confirm? I can't feel individual eggs but she is looking really hefty and her last meal was a week ago. Not sure if I should feed her at this point or wait till after she lays? She just pooped yesterday and again today.

UPDATE

She shed on friday, and we went out of town for a few days. When we got home Tuesday she was hunkered down in her lay box buried completely under the moss and no eggs yet. We are checking a couple times a day for eggs.

Sorry I lost track of this thread, and didn't answer any questions!

If you see her out, or even peeking out, of her lay box, it's not time. You're safe to check 24 hours later. Once you see here in there, head down, maybe a space cleared away on the bottom, with a glazed look in her eyes- it's time.

She is staying under the moss and we haven't seen her out although she must've come out to shed and then we were gone a few days. The suspense is killing me! But ok, ill only check once every 24 hours.

Well I have the viv covered partially with a blanket, the half that her lay box is on... and I just peeked under the blanket without opening the viv and she is in the laybox but moving around in it and seems very activeaactually. There was also a poop I had to clean out that was in the end opposite her lay box but wasn't there this morning and the last time I fed her was before she was blue.

She was out of the box this evening so I took her out for a few minutes and I can definitely feel eggs... but I only counted 4 or 5. Would it be normal to have so few?
