For the "BEAST" fans-'08 babies update

My '09 snow male is already showing interest in girls. :dancer: He'll be quite the stud for me in another year or so.

Thanks guys! :)

Beker's, didn't you keep back an anery, too?
Any updates, on it?

Well, yeah I did. He escaped once and I found him. I moved him to a different cage with a more secure lid, so I thought. One day I went to feed him and he was gone again. Not sure how considering his size, but the lid was on and tight. I've never found him. :(

Darn! Here I was skimming the entire thread looking for pics of that anery. =( I hope he shows up!

That aside... They're getting so pretty! I'm going to need one of those some day. I don't know what it is that I love about them... But I think they're the only hybrid I really like... Lol. =)

Good lord, that amel is ridiculously pretty. The photo of both of them together is really interesting, color-wise, too.

They are looking fabulous! I really love that Amel, but the Snow is stunning, too. Thanks for the update! :)

Thank you. The amel is a beautiful girl and I can never get her colors to show up right on pics. But that picture of them together is actually pretty darn close to true colors.

Thanks you Suzy. Should be some babies hatching in the near future if your interested. LOL :)

Wooohooo for the update!!! Becky, they are stunning animals...you've done so well in producing them!! So is "beast" the official name??

Thank you very much. It appears as every one likes calling them that so I guess "beast" is what it will be. Whether or not these guys ever get as big as their parents, I have no idea and only time will tell. But I guess beast can mean different things other than big right? lol

I hope my male stays more pink, but I can see the yellows coming in. If my girl gets as nice as your keeper amel, I'll be in heaven!!

Oh no. I looked at the updated pictures and now I've had a change of heart and am liking the snow beast better! [Granted, the light pink amel is still SO pretty!!!] Starting to look a lot more like a butter than a snow to me! I want one of each. hahaha I wish the anery hadn't escaped. :(

When I first tried to play devil's advocate and mentioned breeding a corn to a black rat, the resulting answers made me think, "Well, I guess I'll never do that." But then again, I wasn't thinking about mixing an amel gene in there. Those snakes are quite lovely. Hmmmm. I DO have a baby black rat and 2 amel corns, an adult male that I'm dying to breed and a juvenile female amel. I don't know the sex of Onyx, but if he/she makes it to adulthood I'm set to breed to either Wishbone or Draco. Hmmmmmm. Dangerous thoughts.
