Ebay doesn't permit live animal sales...I'm curious how they're going to pull it off...Maybe Ebay will let it through due to the large fees they'd be collecting...

expensive!

has rich seen this yet? makes me wonder how much he sold his two-headed hatchling for...

Nowhere NEAR what the asking price on that one is!

I tried to look for it on EBay but lots of people have put "two-headed albino rat snake" in the headline discription for their non related item just so when you search for it you get their item as well.

I saw on discovery just last week a show done 2 months ago featuring a guy claiming to own the only 2 headed albino rat snake. His snake was 5 years old & a lot better looking than that one.

My local news just did this story and they said they were selling it on ReptileActions.com not e-bay. :shrugs: So I guess e-bay didn't allow it  .

Wow there's three threads about this 2 headed snake right now!
I think this one was first though, and since it's in the genetics section I will ask this question here - anybody know what the odds are of hatching out a snake with 2 heads?
Maybe I should quit buying lottery tickets and get some more snakes :shrugs:

Putting the auction on Reptibid was a mistake. With as much publicity as this snake has gotten combined with the reputation Reptileauctions.com has for being less than reputable (That does not mean I think everyone on there is a scammer I have bought and sold plenty there but for every one good transaction I have had there I can say I have had a bad one as well.). My guess is they will get the bids but in the end they will turn out to be dead beat bidders.

I was reading about one species that, under certain incubation conditions which seem to happen every few years in the wild, about 5% (or something similar) of the hatchlings will be bicephalic.
My guess is they will get the bids but in the end they will turn out to be dead beat bidders.
LMAO How true!
