Frosted Corn Baby Pic Updates

Love All, Trust A Few
Hey guys,
All of our babies have shed and 1 has ate. I thought I'd share pics of them. The pics are without flash and are in natural light. 2 look just alike, but the other 2---- WOW--- you will be able to pick them out easy. One has a lot of white in it and is just amazing looking. And the other one (the runt) has a lot of red contrast and is much darker than the rest. I have not sexed them yet. Hope you enjoy the pics. Let me know what you think. Thanks for all the comments also. Tiffany

PS I posted this on our other thread, but it was old so this is the latest. See the other thread to see their parents if ya want. Thanks!

There head pattrens are throwing me off keep me thinking that there not 100% corns, but dam the light red one reminds me of an amel cinder. anyone agree, he def is my pick of the litter. Nice, are they unsualy big for corn babys? If they were 100% corns hed be nice to put with candy cane maybe. =)

Lovely hatchlings! I especially like the pale red one! I'm not as familiar with all the color variations seen in creamsicles, especially frosted ones, but you might want to test for caramel as the two yellow ones sure look like butter creams to me!

We are not sure of their lineage. If you look in my other posts people are saying that they could be either hybrids (corn x grey ratsnake) or frosted corns. But I cant say for sure bc I dont know what their parents are. But thanks for the comments. And the little bright red one is my fave too!

Congrats, beautiful babies!
The more frosted red one (pale red) is definitely my favorite too! :)

I'd say their head patterns are definitely off and they look hybrids just like their parents. The babies also seem to be rather HUGE for their age (compared to pure corn hatchlings that is). I wouldn't sell them as "frosted corns" (or anything "just corns") just to make sure no misunderstandings will take place and someone breeds them further with pure corns and that way introduces hybrid blood to other lines.

Anyway gorgeous little wormlets you have there, and what an interesting outcome anyway! The pale red and contrasty red are STUNNING! :D

I need to retake some pics of them beside a coin or something bc they really are not that big. Ive had quite a few corn babies the same size. The really pretty red one is tiny! The two that look a like are the biggest, still about the size of a baby corn. I def will not sell them as pure corns, if I sell them at all :p. I let everyone know that they have a mystery lineage from the get go. Thanks for stopping by and looking and thanks for the comments!

Thanks Salvadorian. We are def. keeping the 2 odd balls (depending on sex). May end up keeping them all! lol

You may end up sending some my way? LMAO I just added up all you snakes in your signature line and it's 92. I haven't counted mine lately I might be half that. Does all the new ones have names?

Wow... I WISH I could pick up one or two of these. They really do look awesome! Congrats to you!

Would you do a progression thread on them, please? I'd really love to see how they develop and grow.

If you are talking about all the ones that come from the Charlotte show, then no lol they dont have names yet. Except the lavender female I named Tootsie, and the White Sided Everglades Rat I named Ivan. Jason is building another rack as we speak. It will hold 24+ babies, so I'll name them then. Depending on sex you may end up with a frosted..... lol :nyah: I really like my 2 odd balls though! haha Hope the house unpacking is going well. Talk to you guys later!

Sure thing. I've got another post up of their parents after Gyspy had the eggs. But these babies dont look nothing like them. I cant wait myself to see how the colors will eventually turn out. I may have some for sale next year. Right b4 we bought the parents Gypsy laid 23 duds!!! So maybe I'll get lucky next year. But yes I will keep you guys updated. They have all shed once and one has ate. Ive got pinks in with the other 3 right now. But so far no interest...:awcrap: So we'll see. Thanks for the comments!

UPDATE!!

Being that I took some new pics last night, I though I'd update this. This link:
http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89656
is one my husband started. It shows the parents.

We sold one of the lighter colored ones and then the runt (also my only male) sadly didn't make it. He was eating fine, pooping fine, just didn't make it for some reason. So here are my 2 girls I have left and so far they are def. keepers and my adult female is gonna lay tonight by the looks of her!!!!

Enjoy!
