Funky Hatchling

PurraLovesJazz

Poofy-Headed Snake-Addict
Yes! I live!

Anyway.. So I got a clutch of eggs from a friend and incubated them, and had 9 hatchlings. Most of them looked perfectly normal, except this little freakazoid. He's colored up a bit more since this photo, this was right after he/she hatched. (no idea.. I'm afraid to try to pop them, they're so little)

Any idea about him? the rest look like regular little amels. He eats just fine and everything, he's taken 4 meals for me now.

Pictured is a sibling, and the weirdo.

Wow... hmmm... well, it's a motley...? I think? I think once it gets older you'll get a better idea of what the colors are.

It's very cute, either way.

He looks like a super high white RO to me. When his color comes in, he's going to be AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

see the interesting thing is.. I have no idea who the father of the clutch was! Apparently the female was a normal het for amel, but the owner didnt know she had any hets at all. She was kept with two other corns in a tank who supposedly were female.

Just a hunch, but I am betting after a few more sheds it will get ore orange and be a "really nice" albino.

dc

I disagree with all of you it is nothing special at all, you should just ship that ugly little snake my way, I will take it in.

Is the belly white? Looks high-white amel, but the belly will give away whether or not it's homo for the motley gene.

sorry, was out while the thread was piling up xD

I am, in fact, selling this little oddball. =P along with his two run-of-the-mill amel siblings. His belly isnt clear white, he has checkers like the rest.

Here we go :) he doesnt look quite as much like an intestine in this one. xD
