Here is a newly started project at my place..

I bought the male as an piedsided pewter but I dont belive him to be piedsided so I have called him an whitesided instead..

this "whitesided thing" is so confusing.. But anyway, I just wanted to show some pics of some hatchlings from this male :)

This is pics of the male, the father and some of the babies from him!

Thanks everyone! :D

I bought this male 2 years ago.. When piedsided still was a pretty new thing.. And I dont think piedsided pewters even excisted then. But who knows!

But now I positive that he is not an pied. Cause pied is not an dominant trait..
I dont say that he carries a dominant trait either but when you pair a pied with an normal bloodred you get hets..
This male was paired to an normal granite (thought she was pewter though, she was bought as an pewter...Long story, but obviously she is not pewter :)) and almost all babies are showing white "markings", more or less.

These snakes are GORGEOUS!!!
Actually I used them as a good example of perfect bloodreds in another thread earlier. ;)

They are all beautiful! Congrats!

The male granite, father, is probably one of the best I've ever seen.

Thanks everyone for complimenting them, nice to hear! :D

Its a little hard to tell if he really is pewter or a granite..
Both female and male (mother and father of these babies) were bought as pewters.. But when I got 7 bloodreds and 6 granites, 1 of them had to be granite instead of pewter and the other one had to be het anery..
First I thought this male was the granite (cause he looks more like a granite and there are more "whitesided" granites out there then "whitesided" pewters).. But then I saw some siblings to the mother and and they were not pewters so, for now, Ive written her as granite and him as pewter..
pairings next year will tell more! :)

Can you post a picture of the female you used? I have a feeling your female is the pewter and the male is the granite. His eyes are anery not charcoal and he's showing too much pink and border colors, in my opinion, to be a charcoal bloodred. If we could see both parents we might be able to help you determine who is what. :)
