Gargoyle gecko information

My Repashy arrived today! How much do you usually use for one gargoyle? I bought an 8 oz package so it will last me a while but don't want to waste it more then she will eat.

I use a medicine measuring cup to mix it up. For one, use approx. 1/2 TSP, 2.5 CC, 2.5 ML or 1/8 FL OZ, my cup has all of those. That is including the water, not just the powder. I pretty much do it by eye and don't pay attention to the marks on the bottle, after you've made some up a few times, you shouldn't have to either. You'll want to add the water slowly, too runny and they won't eat it, too thick and it dries out too fast. However, a bit too watery is better than too dry, it will be about the perfect consistency the next day. It will also thicken up a bit on it's own after a few minutes. Hope that helps!

I picked up some kidney-shaped ceramic Zilla dishes, but think I may look for some of those tiny rectangular wasabi plates. I'm not sure how much he's eating out of his dish, but he certainly loves licking it off of my fingers. I've been using measuring spoons to measure and mix the CGD, 1/4 tsp powder to 1/2 tsp water. My garg is almost a year old, and I just weighed him tonight and he's 16g. I was also worried that he wasn't eating enough until I talked to the breeder and she put it in perspective that his little tummy is about the size of a pea.

With my ~30 gram garg, I give her about three kidney beans worth of dry CGD (waste less, and she eats it just fine) every 2-3 days. You'll figure out how much your garg eats eventually.

Felix normally eats about 3/4 of what I give her every two days, then finishes most of the rest on the third day, and won't eat for another 1-3 days depending on the temps.
