Gar's First Spring Photo Shoot

Pal-O-Mine

New member
Well, this weekend the ancient old weeping cherry tree in my yard bloomed so I decided to take advantage of it. I got some good pics of Gar but he got a little carried away. He decided he really likes pink flowers and when I tried to disentwine him from the branches, he took offense and tagged me! He definitely is NOT like Fran, my sand boa! One week and already I'm bitten, actually chewed on! I'm sure glad he's not poisonous!

Great photos. I love the colors in all of them, but #3 is definitely my favorite. I can't wait until things in NH start to blossom so that I can try to take some pictures like yours!.

Aww...he's BEAUTIFUL!!! <3 the cherry tree. I especially like the second pic where Gar is hiding behind the flower stems. Amazing shots! Thanks for sharing. =)

Spring Shots II

I'm trying to get as many pics before I loose the blossums on the tree. We have a storm coming tonight so I'm expecting most of the flowers to get pulverized in the wind. I tried a different approach today in not the best light, hoping to control the situation more. ( I was standing on a stepladder yesterday to get close enough to the lowest branches. ) Well all was okay for a moment or two and then Gar got this manaical look in his beady little eyes and tried to make a break for freedom off of the table! The barn cat saw him and lunged, I shoved her aside and grabbed him and he grabbed me AGAIN! ( No blood this time! ) Yes, I got him back. No, I didn't know the barn cat was there until I saw a tortie colored blur race past me. Man! He's quick!

New rule. NO MORE OUTSIDE PHOTO SHOOTS! He likes the outdoors way too much!

Anyone else had a problem like this out of their corn snake or am I just throwing too much at him too soon?
