Get Well Wishes for Gene (DaGiant)!

I'm not sure what ever happened between us, but I'm glad your procedure was alright. The head is a touchy appendage to mess with. You're very fortunate indeed!

I hope it heals up well for you. :wavey:

WOW!!! Thank You everyone!!

I am touched by all the well wishes.. This is such a wonderful "Family"
we are a part of.
I am doing good, still have quite a bit of pain, but thats to be expected
when they chisel on the skull and poke wires and such into the head.. LOL

For those that dont know, I had a "Cochlear Implant" done on 1/29.
The Dr said all went great and in about a month the when exterior
electronics are applied I should be able to hear again!

Thank You again to all for the thoughts!
You all are AWESOME!!
Gene, I'm so glad this went well, and I look forward to hearing the final results. I've looked into this myself but...to be honest...I'm scared.

I'm glad the intial surgery went smoothly and without a hitch. Speedy health vibes to you!

Gene, I'm glad to see you are feeling at least somewhat better! I hope the pain starts to lessen--and they give you some real drugs not those lousy ones!
