Stop eating. I've lost 45 pounds that way. I'll probably die next Tuesday, but my pall-bearers will thank me!
In fact, I've been 'going' to the gym for over 10 years. The best thing I've done to lose weight has been to give up pop and juice.

Eat small meals, eat often, about every three hours. Don't do it without exercise, you may have to step it up a bit, walk more or faster, maybe start a little jog with the dogs along with your walks. Don't start off too hard, it sometimes discourages people, 'cause its hard. You already have the key to the exercise thing! Do what you like to do and work it into your regular activities, anything that raises your heart-rate for a while. Eating this way plus exercise helps increase your over all metabolic rate, burning more fuel. It works, I've seen it work.
Kind of restrictive asking people who run 5 miles not to answer, they probably know the answer. I don't use a gym either, money, time. I ride my bike to work and get regular exercise at work and play, if I don't I gain weight (love food).
Ya gotta work it some! Good luck and good losing, stick with it and you'll look killer!
And then we want pics.

You're gonna hate me for saying this but... I struggled to lose a little extra pudge for years without success... and then I got on anti-depressants and dropped about 25-30 lbs over two months doing nothing. Now I'm off them but still hover between 108-112lbs (highest weight was 130-something). Even off them I find as long as I exercise, the less I think about what I'm eating or how many calories are in it the easier I drop weight.
