Hi! I'm fairly new here (I've been doing a lot of reading, though - thanks everyone!), and I finally after shedding and feeding have pictures of our new, first corn snake, Glory.
She is a normal, I think, although she was apparently the bred from a Miami on one side - I have tried to figure it out on my own, but does that mean anything? I doubt I'll ever breed her, but one still likes to know! I find the cultivation of the different morphs pretty fascinating. I think she is lovely in looks, and I know she is lovely in nature.
She spends all her time hidden in her viv, but when we take her out she is calm, easy to pick up, friendly and fun. I hope that she starts to explore her tank a little at some point. She was staying under her water bowl all the time, and I have moved it onto the floor (it was propped up on the aspen before) so that she would use her hides more (she likes them, but under the water bowl was irresistible) and we don't have to move the whole water bowl to find her!
I realized that she was being seriously underfed for her size, so we have brought her up to the proper amount of food as per the Munsen guide. She eats very readily; she's kinda a pig! But I am realizing that this is a VERY good thing.
Anyways, here's Glory in all her glory!
