Phew, Good God this camera wasn't a money drain!!
Thankfully, where I work, there are quite a few DSLR photographers- and one of them was -really- helpful... explained everything about everything I needed to know(aperture, shutter speed, ISO and so on).
The problem was twofold:
1- I worked in complete manual, trying to adjust both shutter speed and aperture... and I am hardly skilled enough to do so, so I moved to "a" mode.
2- The built on flash is horrible... and I do my photoshoots in low light-indoors... I needed a better light source... and again, that guy pulled through and loaned me an add on SB-400... which is cheap and -amazing- to work with.
I finally got some results I am proud of!
The colors are accurate- forgive Solaris, she is in dark phase...
I am getting such a flash too!
So... people who plan on working at homes and can't provide really well lit environment... you really should get the flash.
I am -so- giddy!!!
I will be abusing this new camera more frequently now... yet I need to get a bit better, but heck, these are wonderful results as far as I am concerned.
Oren,
