Happy New Year, Your Resolutions?

My resolutions pretty much focus on the fact that I need to improve myself in several ways. I want to be more positive about things and start going out more and involving myself with things. I also want to learn to control my quick temper. :)

As far as snakes go, I have a few goals to achieve this year, I want to acquire a couple of real beauties I've had my eye on for a while now, and I want to move my python in to a bigger tank.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!.
Now, onto my resolution.. Not to have any so I don't have to see myself as a failure.
If I do anything of consequence that could have been a resolution, then I'm doing pretty darn good!!

My resolution...

Don't blow the money I make in reptile sales this year right away...I have a few choice projects & a number of new cages I want, but I have a bad habit of seeing things I "have to have" and the money goes quick!

Happy New Year!

My resolutions: Cut WAY back on credit cards. Pay off the small ones. Make a dent in the big ones. Try really, really hard not to use them at all.

Ride my bike as much as last year. This time, last year, I was riding 200-300 miles a week. Now I am riding 125 miles a month, all in one ride...The break needs to be over.

I think that's it.

Happy New Year everyone! My resolutions for this year is to finish quitting smoking. I have already stopped at home, just need to not smoke at work (where the major stress is). Since that is only about 4-5 cigarettes/day for only 4 days/week, I should be able to do it without killing someone or getting fired.

I also need to lose the weight I have gained since I quit smoking at home. I've put on about 25 pounds but would not only like to lose that, but an additional 20 pounds. I currently weigh more than I did just before giving birth to my son...and I don't like that one little bit!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have a couple of resolutions that I'd like to keep this year; a few major ones and a couple of minor ones. I'll list the three biggest ones and the three littlest ones.

1st: I need to look after my health - both mental and physical. I've let myself go a bit during the last four years with self-pity and depression and I need to get over that immediately. I've done ok, but have to do better now.

2nd: I need to exercise more patients when it comes to my oldest and her slight behavioral problems. She's growing up way to fast and she's nearly as stubborn as her mother. So I have to try not to bark so much at her when she's driving me crazy.

3rd: I need to get the house cleaned up, get rid of the junk we don't need, and start packing up the stuff that isn't used and get myself organized for our future move.

Ok, there are a few more major ones, but I don't want to post them as they are more self directed and what not. The minor ones now...

1st: I need to continue to exercise restraint when it comes to new snake purchases. I've done well, no new ones in over a month, and while I do have a few I am interested in purchasing this year, I don't want to double or triple the collection like we did last year. We have most everything we need to produce some interesting critters in a few years and we need to concentrate on raising the youngsters to be healthy and happy.

2nd: Same as above - can't hurt to have the reinforcement.

3rd: To get a rack system built for our rodents so that I can better manage my breeding colonies and prevent surpluses and shortages by more repsonsable management.

I think that gives me enough to work on this year. Good luck to all of those looking to quitting smoking! And good luck to everyone else with thier resolutions. Trev needs the most encouragement though, his sounds like the hardest! lol
