help me decide what to pair with what this year

Even though there are a lot of things I would LIKE to do this year, I can't justify producing that many corn snake babies in this market. I am trying to narrow it down to 4 pairings. Maybe even just 3. but there are so many things I want to do that I have a hard time narrowing it down.
1-3 Cinder X poss het cinder = I have 3 poss het females I'd still like to prove out.
4 cinder x lavender = a project I think would be interesting
5 cinder x ghost stripe = project and test some hets on the cinder male
6 ghost motley het stripe X same = I miss having baby ghosts I haven't produced any for a while and people ask about them
7 Banded corn X same = project with some cool looking hypos I have that are finally big enough
8- poss het cinder male X het cinder female= would like to prove him out as well

I can see why you're asking for help deciding what to pair. I say go for a variety of hatchlings. Do the ghost motley het stripe pairing, do one cinder X ph cinder (or the ph X ph), a cinder project (whichever one you like best) and the banded pair.

...I can't justify producing that many corn snake babies in this market...

Good thinking; unless the end of the Mayan calender sends people into a frenzy of "last minute shopping" I don't see this year being any different than last year...or the year before ;)

So either...

A: take the year to prove out het Cinders
B: take the year to start projects, the cinder X lavender and ghost stripe
or
C: take a "fun" year, and just breed the ghost stripe and banded pairs

jmho :)

hummmm.... Like Susan said, tough choice

I would probably go with the ghosts stripe, test out a pair of cinders(the biggest female), and the banded pair because they are finally big enough(sounds like you have been waiting on them), and if you feel like a 4th the Cinder, Lavender project sounds really neat.

What ever you decide, it should be a neat year for you Jen.

Thanks everyone some good suggestions, I like the idea of having a bit of variety. I am thinking maybe the smartest thing to do is to just breed the 4 biggest females, that would be the lavender, one of the poss het cinder females, the banded female and a het cinder. The ghost females are both probably big enough to breed but after having lost a female that was just at the 300 gram mark last year I am kind of paranoid about breeding smallish females..
