Help Me Name Slim's New Girlfriend

For those of you who know Slim, I bought him a new girlfriend the other day but didn't get her in till today. She isn't nearly as pretty as Slim, but I couldn't pass up on the great price I got her for. She had gotten a little agressive because the original owner didn't have time to spend with her. That's why you see me holding her head in the one shot lol. She calmed down pretty quick and I think she is a sweety at heart. I can see her sitting with me and Slim when we watch TV together in no time. Well, here is Slim for those who don't know him and then the pics of me holder her that my son just took.

Man, she is big. She makes Slim look tiny lol... Maybe I will name her big mama or something... Need help in this area though lol... Post your suggestions... :)

Oh yea... It isn't cold here at all... I put the coat on for protection just in case she decided to taste me lol...

UPDATE: The female ball python shed and the scare on her retina came off beautifully... The eye is still very foggy from infection, but she is doing well...

I like Big Mama, John! She's looking good!

Glad to hear the ball's eye is doing better. Did the vet say what was wrong?

LOL, you got the name right that time. :p

The vet said it was infected and wasn't sure if she would lose her sight or not. He gave me what is pretty much neosporen to put on it. I thought it burst the other day but was so glad to see it hadn't. It looks so much better. It might be all better in another shed or two, but gonna have to wait and see. She goes back to the vet in about a week. :)

Wow, she's HUGE! Are you sure slim won't be intemidated by her size? lol... I think I like Big Bertha better, but Big Mama would be just appropriate I think!

Glad to hear that the BP's eye is looking better to!

I was worried about Slim being a little intimidated, but he assured me that he liked the big boned girls... This girl aughta be just about right then... LOL...

I think, for such a big girl, you should give her a nice, soft name, haha. Abigail is what comes to mind to me. Or chiquita, which means little girl... haha

That's funny... That's kinda what my wife was thinking... She wants to name her Sally to make it Slim and Sally... :) Being that my wife has voiced what she wants concerning the name, it may be already decided lol. :crazy02:

LOL, it pretty much works that way here too... I've named the majority of the snakes, though I do sometimes give Tim a list of acceptable names that he can choose from! :sidestep: :grin01:

Shes beautiful! I like the darker adults as much as bright pastel coloured ones.

I would name her petal :)... She looks like a real sweetheart (I like my snakes fiesty)

I had a boa that i called stella. I don't know if you like that name. :shrugs: Slim and stella does have a nice ring to it though. :)

 I am actually gonna run the list of names including the one she came up with by her and let her pic. More like me asking "can I have one of these names please *submissively with thumb in mouth and fat begging lip*", not giving her the acceptable ones. LOL

Well since you got slim (who doesn't look to slim to me.lol) I'd name her Tiny...lol
I love the name Tiny, but I think I am going to save that for the next big male I get. :)

LOL
fiesty cornsnake = bite of lots of pinholes
fiesty big boa = bite resulting in ground beef lol
I usually like the fiesty ones just because they tend to be great eaters and really healthy. Either that or they are about to shed lol. The name Petal is really sweet. I like having names that don't give away the size of the animal. That way when I ask them if they want me to get "Petal" for instance for them to see, they have no idea what is coming lol. :) I don't think I will name her Petal, but I just got two bps last week and I think the female will be Petal and maybe Pete for the male.

I used to be a server at Red Lobster and we had this 75 or so year old hostess from New York named Stella. She had a really strong accent and used to go around pinching my butt all the time ROFL. I think Stella is another excellent name for her and will definitely by on the list I present my wife. :)

If nothing else, you guys have given me some really good ideas for names of my other snakes lol. I have a few corns that I haven't named yet just because I haven't sexed them. If any of them are females, the names that don't get chosen for the big boa have good uses.

I do that all the time. I over exaggerate names.. For example "Panther" sounds mean... Panther is in fact a big pink corn LOL

I did have a huge boa girl at one time named sweetheart - she truly was a gem.

Petal is cute... I'd name her petal!

HA!! When I was a young boy, my brothers and I were given a big old rottweiler dog...not a puppy, but this big, muscular, floppy, dog who was a GIANT in size, but loveable as could be...

Anyhow...he was about a year old when we got him, and we named him "Kitty". You should have seen the looks on the neighbor's faces when I was outside calling him, 'Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty!" and along would come this giant of a dog with this big menacing gape...funny stuff.
