Hello,
I recently had a problem with my female corn regurging. She seems to be on the road to recovery now, but my vet told me to check to see if she was carrying (infertile) eggs just to be on the safe side. The problem being, I have no idea how to tell if she's carrying eggs or not. I had a sort of tentative feel of her underside just above her cloaca, which made her squirm a bit and look annoyed, but I don't know if that was right.
For future reference, what's the right way to check for eggs? She is only 1 year old and weighs about 100g, so I don't think she'd be carrying them anyway, but I should know these things!
