I can't believe it!

those are some gorgeous pics Elle. What a beautiful snake!!! I've never seen anything like it. In fact, when I scrolled down to see the very first pic, the head looked fake because it was so vibrant!! I thought you were pulling our legs like some people will try to do in here in the past LOL. It was so beautiful and vibrant with color and perfect that I actually thought it was fake until I started looking at the other pics after the first one and it started looking real LMAOOO!!!

What a gorgeous snake. You really have the prettiest snakes Elle!!

Thanx so much for the beautiful pics!!

Take care,

Lil. :)

Thank you Lil!

Shes no fake snake LOL

Gorgeous snake.

Are she nocturnal? I checked a site or two and they didn't say. I guessed from the shape of her eyes that she was because for some reason I thought that eyes shaped like hers were suited for seeing at night.

Oh they are very nocturnal. Even the sweetest of chondros can turn into th devils spawn at night!

I love the additional photos of Siren.:)

Thanks Deb :) I know I am going to love watching her progression. Any recent pictures of your wee one?

I'll try to take some photos, of my GTP, very soon. Not maroon anymore ... nowadays, he/she is in that orangey phase.
Like your GTP, he/she is a real sweetheart.:)

BTW I can sure relate to your excitement and squeeeeing. I was the very same way when I first got my GTP.
These days, although I am, of course, not jumping out of my skin with that initial excitement, ....I still, absolutely, ~adore~ the heck out of him/her (really need to get around to determining his/her sex).
Considering how you are feeling right now, about Siren, ... I am sure you will be the same way after time (still adoring her).:)
As well as I do mine, I am looking forward to watching your new baby's progression.

Siren has finnished her moose!

Of course I don't know the REAL sex of Siren, but as Steve refered to her as a she, so shall I for now. Shes 5 months old, so not that long to wait before I can get some confirmation.

I think I will forever be captivated and excited by Siren. She is just so amazing I cannot express it.

If these are nocturnal, what birds are there to catch? Or do they eat bats?? What is their diet in the wild?

oh wow ...she is stunning..whew!...that is one amazing snake..her color is so vivid!
Congratulations Elle..she's so wee and perfect on her branch:D

wow, Elle! Siren is absolutely beautiful! I'm so happy for you...yet jealous at the same time. hehe. :)

LOL thank you :)

Fanking you.

Shes sitting under the hottest part of the heat source this morning digesting last nights meal. How clever is she!

Now I just have to stop staring at her. At least I wont be tempted at all to play with her now she has food in her tummeh.

I should shouldn't I! If I can write a half an hour drunken opera about a bit of blue fluff, I can write a musical about this lass LOL

Nice GTP, I love the Sorongs!
Can't wait to she gets some Blue in her :D

I got a lovely Male Sorong for sale ...*whistles*

I couldn't wrap my head around how small she was until I saw her in size reference with the fuzzy.

How can you see her with all the condensation in the tub? Do you have a special viewing area that gets wiped down?

..I think I finally discovered what I want to put in the 30 gal I have laying around! Cept... a glass tank probably wouldn't be the best for holding humidity and water without molding. Ah well, even if I can't use my 30gal and end up buying a completely different enclosure I still want one!

How long did you have the tub up and running before she arrived?

She's groegous(with capital G!) Elle!!!

your so lucky...i'd love to hav GTP but alas can't afford one yet and don't have the stuff to properly house one.

Congrats Elle!!
