So I got an ultimatum from my other half. He says i have to build a rack for my snake kids. But i love seeing all my babies out and about doing the silly things that they do. I have seen clear tubs but alot of the pics i have seen of racks on here don't have lids. how does that work? How do i use the silver tape with the heat cord? How do i make it human kid proof? He says that if I don't get this figured out by summer I will have to down size by 2. He was just fine with me getting my newest baby this next saturday (whom he fell in love with her picture). but he says No more no way! :awcrap::awcrap::awcrap::awcrap::awcrap::awcrap::awcrap::awcrap::awcrap:

I love my babies and so do my kids. He likes the 3 that he can take out of their tanks with no problem. I think he just doesn't like the 2 that are total loves to me but strike at him. I think thats why he said 2

I have seen some racks made out of like book shelves. and others made out of like heavy duty plastics.

Budget friendly ideas please....
 
I think you should ask the folks at animal plastics (I think) they make nice racks and they have some that are not listed. I think Nanci has some.

I have seen racks that have the tubs turned to have the longest part facing forward (if that makes sense). This would allow you to see in much more easily, so you can enjoy watching them and your other half will be happy that they are in a rack. Just an idea to mention when talking to the vendor.
 
yay ta da.... i finally got it all set up. i have a happy man and i can still see all my babies. plus i can easily make it larger as they will need bigger tubs.
