Cohabbing is cruelty...
that this community is like no other, anywhere...
When we came to Daytona as newbies, everyone made us feel right at home. Within 5 minutes of meeting everyone in room 430 Nanci and I were sexing raffle okeetee babies and pairing them up!! Everyone was really easy to talk to, and at the restaurant Robbie kept bouncing over and giving me hugs! It was GREAT!!! It was a real pleasure meeting everyone, and this weekend meant more to us than you know. I love you all!!

I echo the sentiment, Beth. :D ;)
The first cornsnake person I 'saw'...was Darcy. Who turned out to be a sweetheart. Quiet-ish, but still waters run deep.

And Beth was the first cornsnake person I 'met'. She and her husband and I had both just arrived. I hugged her and we (I) started knocking on doors. Is Nanci in 204?, 208?, 214?, 218?
LOL. I had it on my cell, but cell not with me (typical). I know it had a 2 and was an even number. LOL.

I was very shy the first day...because of all the accents,...nobody talked like me.
But I was gifted with a collective community hug!!!

Haha I love hearing what a community cs.com is! Rich did more than just create a cornsnake forum, he should be very proud of bringing so many friends together! :)

Hope to get to Daytona next yr! :)

I was really surprised at taylor's lack of an accent. He sounded midwesternish like us ohioans!

Don't tell people at work I'm quiet, they won't believe you! :)

Beth- I felt like I'd met you a thousand times before. Like you were already one of my best friends!! Some other people I didn't know that well- now I am very attached to them, too, and I can't wait till next year!!

I agree.. I've been on many other forums for other hobbies/interests and I always venture back here feeling like they were just missing something..

I wish I could have gone and met you all! Daytona is definitely going to have to be something I save for. Next year I'm hoping to be able to go to the Portland Reptile Expo at least :).

Wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll just slip it in here. While I've been going to Daytona for years (and Orlando before that) this was my first "cornsnake supper" that I've attended. I had a great time and am definitely looking forward to doing it again next year. Two thumbs up to everyone involved in pulling this off.... great job and well done.

Oh yeah and a big thanks to Khaman for the invitation to come along. (LOL.. I vow to log into this site more than once every five years from here on out... haha.)

I had a blast meeting everyone too! Beth you and your husband were such a woot. I'm sad that vending kept me so busy. You HAVE to come next year.
