A friend of mine at work showed me these pictures that his friend e-mailed him. The friend lives in Orlando. It is unclear if the friend took these himself (which is what my firend thinks) or is just passing them on. Anyway...

Is a western, good eye. I hate that I'm so jaded from the Internet that I suspect a pre-killed snake there, but cool photos, in any case. Indigos will eat absolutely anything. I'd love to work with them again, but their poo is like the worst beardie poo you ever came across.
 
My friend says he has one that has lived in his yard for seven or eight years. I'd die if I saw one in the wild...

Thanks Chip, that tail was a dead giveaway. And yes, Indigos are messy and smelly, yet we all still love 'em. :cheers:
 
You can argue that there are more interesting snakes out there, but I'll even argue that against an eastern. No matter what species I ever decide to work with, there are no/few more "interested in YOU" snakes. I had a big female for over a decade, I could honestly HEAR her defecate sometimes. Bulls and pines can do that too, but nowhere near an eastern. Such is the kind of trade-off that I can kind of understand the folks who love tree boas and such.
