Injuried wild corn

Bad news people, "She" is blind.(possible might be able to sense light and dark). Has 2 kinks in her neck. Doc doesnt believe it should stop her from eating but she wouldnt make it long in the wild. She does have nerve damage, she twitches when making certain movements. He gave her a 50/50 chance(If I can get her to eat.)
 
Hope she has no issues eating but don't freak if she refuses for a while being wild and injured probably with swelling in that area may delay a few feedings:)

Indeed! I hate to eat or drink with a sore throat and only do it because I know it's best to do so. The snake doesn't know that. Anyway, with a metabolic rate of only 1/5 that of us endotherms, she can go longer without food.

Poor little thing....I am so relieved you found her! With the current prognosis will you be hanging onto her since it didn't sound promising that she would survive in the wild??

Oh....I am so keeping my fingers crossed for her!!! Poor thing is probably really freaked out! Thanks for the update and please keep us posted!
 
Thanks for the update. Maybe she'll eat soon. If not, maybe she'll eat after a brumation cycle.

Good news, I think....

With some awesome advise from Kathy, I was able to shringe feed "rehab"(yes she earn her name) this past weekend. It is already noticable how much more energy she has. She has her own 15 gallon tank(instead of a small tub), log and water dish. She is begining to be my new favorite......
 
Egg yolk, this time.... first meal. I think a blended pinkie with egg yolk and a touch of calcium powder will be her next meal, later this week. I need to make sure she poos first...
 
Hmm, I wonder is syringe feeding pureed mouse would work for my little 3g non-feeder golddust...

I am glad it seems to be working for her, she is a lovely girl!
