Introducing Lila!

Good point! She'll have a nice rest while I'm at the vet with Addy and Maizey. Corns are just so sweet, aren't they? She isn't afraid at all!

Nanci

I wouldn't know how sweet they are...yet I've only ever held one. Oh sweet bajeezus I can't wait till the reptile show, and these pics of Lila really make me want a Lav.

She _is_ pretty, isn't she? You can do a lot of things with a lav, too. I can't imagine going to a snake show, with no preconceived idea of what I was looking for, and just picking the prettiest one. I've just gone to look, and looked (with no intention of buying) at what would go with what I have now. But to just say, Oh, I'm getting any king or corn, whatever one looks the beat- that would be awesome! Look at Lila's back- there's hardly a normal saddle on her anywhere, even down at her teeny tail!

Nanci

Lila says "Get a lav!"

Well I have certain types in mind, but I have a vague list only because I think so many of the snakes are beautiful and I don't want to hold it against the perfect snake just because it isn't the right color ;)
But I'm looking for:
Amels, bloodreds, candy cane, creamsicle, lavs, opal, reverse okeetee, or coral/bubblegum snow.
I can't even get a normal since it's illegal to own them in my state :bang:

That's weird- all the images are in the same location on my computer- nothing on Webshots.

Nanci

How odd - I can see it now. Must be this old 'puter having a funny five minutes. ;)

Great new additions Nanci! Love the pattern on Lila and they both look quite happy with their new homes. Looking forward to more photos down the road.

congrats on getting her(and Jake too of course!!)!!

she so pretty and so cute! My next snake is either going to be a lav, striped lav, or hypo lav...and its your fault too! showing me pictures of such a beautiful little snake...and making me fall in love with her....but its a good thing so i don't mind

congrats again!

Lila got introduced to TV night last night, and watched some Scrubs with me. She had a great time, and is even starting to learn some tricks like Choco!

Unfortunately, she got her first nickname- Pencil Neck!

Nanci

Because look at her! Maybe it's an American thing- a word for skinny. With not so fortunate men, sometimes they might be referred to as "pencil-something else."

Nanci

She's a little cutie- I love her so much.

LOL... I have no nicknames for undersized Hal yet. Hes a grumpy little bastage but I adore him. Theres just something about working with snakes who haven't had the best start in life thats so rewarding!

Junebug is a good nickname for her, too, since that's what she sounds like when she tail rattles.

Inez's new name is Pork Chop. The Munson Plan is working out well for her.

Nanci

Lila and I interrupt this broadcast of Scrubs to announce that Lila has officially moved up the Munson Feeding Chart to "Fuzzy," effective next feeding, 31 grams    And, as I could tell the moment I removed her from her shipping container, she is a genius among snakes, and has already mastered five of Choco's six tricks...

I love my Lavender Girl!

Nanci

PS, "Waldo," how are her Rosy-Haired cousins doing?
