Introducing Noah: My First Boa!!

Awesome looking snake! As many others have mentioned, those blue eyes are AMAZING! Congrats on getting him and can't wait to see MANY more pics of him in the future.
Love the name, but was thinking Frank would have worked just as well.....lol

Thanks you guys! Frank did cross my mind...I've decided I want to put him in a ten gallon glass with screen viv in my room, and downsize Zee as well, and move up Jasper and Pepper out into the rack, but I can't do anything now for a few days since I fed them yesterday...Zee has topped out, apparently, at about 20" in length, and a ten gallon is the recommended size for a Rosy, so I may as well give the corn teenagers bigger spaces-I'll have to someday, anyway.

Congrats on your first Squishie Nanci! He's gorgeous, and those eyes are out of this world. I can see why he was a hard boy to pass up.

Wow. He's cool. I'm not much into squishies, but those eyes are pretty great! Nice pick up! I can see why he was the only one. And, I like the name.

Now that everyone has finished digesting, I was able to swap everyone around, and Noah is finally settled in his real viv, a 10 gallon in my bedroom previously occupied by Pepper. I didn't know they liked to climb, so went out yesterday and bought new furnishings. He inherited Jasper's rock hide, Pepper's bonsai, got his own big heavy kind of pyramid-shaped branch, which he can hide under or climb on. He has a small water bowl, but I'd like to find an even smaller one. Right now he's busy exploring.

You should see him! He's just all over that big vine. Poor kid has probably never had anything to climb on before!!

Nanci, Noah's viv looks wonderful! I'm a bad rosy mom. The snausage barely has anything to climb on. Thanks for the pics, it's a great reminder that I need to get off my bum and get some branches in there.

I thought Rosies would be all deserty and rocks and sand, but I noticed he climbed a lot when I first put him in his first bin, so read up about them, and they are climbers!! So when I went furniture shopping for him, I made sure to get climbing stuff. He's in the tree now!

Wow, thank you Elle! The boa connoisseur! You should feel him, he's like silk! And not jumpy or flighty or fast moving- just slow and calm and curious and relaxed.

Lucky you. Wanna trade? The snausage is all five letters of the word B****!

j/k. Wouldn't trade her for the world, but she truly is a snarky one.

I'm just loving Noah's viv, though. As soon as Luke gets on the bus, it's branch cutting/baking time!

Wow, nice viv for Noah, Nanci! He looks really great there... Like turning around to say, "Thanks for the new digs, mom!"

He sure is one handsome dude!
