Is feeding your snake only frozen mice alright??

I am planning on buying a baby corn snake in the near future and would like to know if feeding it only frozen mice will make it a healthy snake.

Yep! They eat mice in the wild and humane euthanasia and freezing of those rodents results in a perfectly fine meal for your snake to be on.

Just to be clear....you do need to defrost the mice first. ;) (Just making sure; I've heard of people offering them frozen!)

And I second the motion that, yes, frozen thawed mice make for a healthy snake and are much healthier for the snake than live...which can injure the snake.

thanks but is it healthy to only feed the mice not anything else?

Rodents provide a perfectly healthy diet, especially for a cornsnake, which is a "rodent specialist" in the wild. Just make sure that you completely defrost the prey before offering it to your snake...

Frozen mice work very well. There is some debate over whether it takes away nutritional value but I really doubt it. Go for it!

Frozen is great, but they can't be too old. I've heard it recommended that after a year in the freezer, they must be thrown out.
Just in case, I double bag them and then keep them in a brown paper bag or cardboard box for extra protection from freezer-burn.
And pinkies don't seem to handle freezing as well because of fragility. They may come out of it occasionally broken, but still edible.
