I just want your opinions on whether it is safe or not to take your snakes outside for a stroll in the yard? I see pics all the time of pet snakes outdoors but before I got a snake I read that it is unsafe to take them outside!!

It's OK to go out side with them.... If the temps are OK. And the snake is safe why not...
As long as people are not being scared by them carry on... Oh keep an eye on your snake, so it doesn't disappear down no holes....

One thing I also browse for before I take my babies out is hawks, and feral cats. That's when I bring out the boas for snackie time. j/k

Years ago I lost a very tame cockatiel to a feral cat. I went out to check the mail and didn't even see the sucker coming. Took him right off my shoulder. :(

When I was younger my friend and I were out on a nature walk and a Hawk came and swooped down, snatching a mouse from a bush that was extremely close to us. Before we had time to process what had happened the Hawk was on a high tree branch enjoying a meal.
We hadn't known there was a mouse so close to us, and we didn't hear the Hawk coming.
