Lana, my Spotted Python

Nomed

Aimez le monstre.
Well as much as I love this adorable little snake (eventhough shes somewhat of a problem feeder) words cannot express how much I hate taking photos of her. Shes super active and does her own thing reguardless of where you try to guide her. She goes straight for any light soruce (In this case the lamp I had near us) Also I use a digital SLR camera, so its hard to hold with one hand and I cant put my focus into manual (AUTO IS HORRIBLE!) because well she moves too much and I need to keep one had with her. So basically thats why there are never that many photos of her.

These are the best ones I got, sorry they are kinda stinky, I was getting pretty fustrated. :angry01:

anyway here is my pretty little baby:

Oh and the fact the quality of the photo goes to crap when they get resized on photobucket, really angers me!!!!!!! :madeuce:

hahah lets hope so Nanci.

shell only grow to about 3ft.

nice little snake, not too bad to take care of, except shes a crappy feeder.
Shell eat live but I cant always get live pinks for her :[

I hope I can get her eating f/t with out any problems.

Very nice! She'll grow fast once she's on fuzzies. Once they start growing they really take off fast.

Argh! I'm still waiting for mine to take off. I swear he's staying small on purpose so he won't outgrow his teapot hide.

Lana is SO cute! Widdle baby google-eyed worm. You'll love her!

Look at those eyes! Really cute little snake. Now I want one too! Maybe someday.......

Edit them before you post on photobucket. I hate the downgrade in quality as well. Your camera probably has white balance settings. Look into those so at least your color is on. This might help you take clearer looking pictures.

Keep practicing!

I do resize my photos with paint. But photobucket still messes with them. I could resize them to make them smaller but it starts to make the quality go.

Good news is I got Lana to finally accept a f/t pinkie. Lets hope shell keep doing it for me :D

Ok minds made up. After a 4 day long thread on which one I wanted to get next and then coming down to 2 (bismarck ringed or spotted python) I am set on the spotted!

Thanks for sharing.

And your pics really aren't that bad.

There are a few free photo resizing programs out there that work quite well that might be a little easier/better than using paint.

Your BP is quite nice as well!

Thanks :]

I'm so glad shes finally eating. Hopefully I can get her back on every 5 days.

Jcapicy, you should do it! Even though they can be fussy feeders they really are awsome little worms.

Thanks, Akasha is comming up on a shed. I'll make sure to post some pictures when shes all fresh and nice :]
