Lavender Stripe.........Vanishing Pattern

Lexcorn

Dreamcatcher
Yup,

Returned from our vacation to find the small clutch from our Lavender hetero Stripe, Hypo pairing has hatched.

This fella is a little 'milky' in colouration as he is well into stage 1 sloughing, never-the-less a photoshoot's in order:

Excellent pattern (or lack there-of).

This Vanishing pattern is highly desirable although some folks think that it rather defeats the purpose of producing the Stripe cultivar :grin01:

Interesting combo this Lavender line.

Thanks Folks ;)

This guy & siblings + some Wild Type hets are the last hatchlings for 2009.

Still another 2 clutches of Honduran Milks to 'pip' though, one due: 1st November..........there's no end to the hatching Season this year!

All the Best. Lex

Thanks again Folks ;)

He is, indeed, a gorgeous colouration but so too is his grandfather 'Prometheus'.

Don't know about y'all but I prefer an animal that resembles the colour of it's given name. Our Lavenders are not dark but rather the pink/peach variety.

Good to verify that the vanishing pattern is exhibited from birth.

Roll on 2010 when the parents will be paired once again for the Hypo Lavender Stripe combo ;).

@ Seriva

The next time you are in the U.K. give us a call :crazy01:
