I also have a Beta fish, cat and 2 dogs. :)

All of your animals are gorgeous! I love looking at other people's pictures.

Viki, Blastoise is so beautiful! I hope I can find a betta as pretty when I'm ready.

Matthew, that bunny is heartrendingly beautiful. There was one just like that at the shelter, she was my favorite and I wish I could have taken her home.

I have 3 non corns, and these guys:

with plans to get a betta eventually. I got my 5 gallon tank last night!

Hooray! I love bettas, I used to have over 21 at one time, but then I moved and the collection dwindled down to two. Also I'm glad to see you're getting a 5 gallon and not some tiny betta death trap! My boys are in 2.5gals. One is planted/filtered/heated/cycled and the other I set up last night so it's without a heater/filter for the time being.

Here's my non-reptilian children!

Love seeing everyone's pets!

Here are mine...
First is Bernini my box turtle, he is a rescue and we think that in his former life me was probably hit by a car and used as a chew toy by something, as he's got a messed up face (and bubbles come out his nose when he eats juicy things) and a few dead spots on his shell. This pic was taken right after eating raspberries and night-crawlers, I think this is his happy face :)

Next is my English setter, Hunter, and one of his kitty friends, Elmer.

The next pic is Hunter again, with his other kitty friend, Bucky. Bucky follows Hunter around all the time with the hopes that if Hunter gets a treat, then maybe he will get one too...they are both begging for treats in this picture :)

And finally is my Lab, Luke, with his sheep before he eviscerated it...still loves to destroy things even at 13 years old :)

Everyone on this list is a rescue, seems the only pets I have that aren't rescues are my snakes :)

You're kidding me, right? You want me to spend the day photographing 10 (6 Border Collies and 4 Pomeranians) dogs, an old cat, 9 macaws and a Blue front Amazon? LOL! That doesn't even count the snakes.
Awwww, come'on, you know you already have pictures of everybody!

hahaha, Just kidding, I feel your pain. Recently (over the past week) I got a cat, and I don't have any pictures of her yet. For some reason it just seems like so much WORK to get up and snap a few decent shots... and I only have 1! :roflmao:

Okay, okay, I took a few snap shots just to show her off. So.. there are tons of cats that just kind of hang out in my apartment complex. I'm sure some of them have homes, but I think there might be some that kind of just go around to different houses, get enough to survive, and move on.

This girl ran up to one of my friends as she was leaving my place one night looking scared, cold, and without a collar. My friend brought her up to my place all concerned. It was raining pretty hard, so I figured that "just one night" wouldn't hurt. Well.. the next day I found myself buying food and kitty litter, it was all over for me!

I've had her for a little under a week now, and she's not named yet. I find myself calling her "crazy" and "phyco" most often though..
I'm trying to teach her some manors with the good 'ol spray bottle. She gets into everything, has crazy bouts of energy, but also follows me into every room and sleeps on/near me at night. I'm fairly sure she's a girl.. any name suggestions?

She gets into everything!

thankfully the resident was in a feeding bin at the time! :sidestep:

She's way too cute to just throw back out into the elements though...
P1016464.jpg

This is my first "furry" animal for at least 3 years now. My last was a flame point Siamese, so I guess I'm used to cats with attitude.

Wendy: I must admit I was never a big piebald python fan.....But yours with those markings is really incredible. Very nicely balanced. The others you have are very nice in their own rights. Just had to comment on that though cause like I said was never really a fan till now.

Thanks! I'm actually kind of fussy about pieds myself, and I also prefer the more balanced-looking ones. I think I got really lucky with Goofball. The breeder had just posted all 10 of his pied hatchlings for sale when I happened to see the ad. So, I got "pick of the litter," and the breeder told me that mine was the one that everyone was asking about after I already bought him.

Jessicat, calico cats are typically females. Males are very rare. She is a cutie :)

I have really enjoyed this tread. I need to upload pics to photobucket. Our female cat just had three kittens. Two little black ones and a siamese.

Oi! You asked for it....

All right, let me see how many of my pets I actually have photos of....

We'll start with the dogs.

Rex, who was our first Border Collie. This was taken on his 15th birthday last year. He'll be 16 on the 6th of July:

15birthdayrex1a.jpg

Puck Robin Dogfellow is the adult in this photo. The pup is Bitsy. Puck Robin is considered a "show type" Border Collie:

11.jpg

Here's Bitsy (registered name Collie Capers Biscuit), all grown up. He's an amazing Obedience and Rally dog, and has is Canine Good Citizen award:

misterintensity3a.jpg

Here's Max. He's 12 y/o, and the biggest goofball you'll ever meet :):

sweetmaxie2a.jpg

Fiona Pop! is my pom-chi girl, who came to live with us following the deaths of 2 of our dogs within 2 months of each other, 2 years ago:

shelooksbored1a.jpg

Foxworthy Fuzz is my "heart dog". We adopted him from a shelter out in the desert. We found him on Petfinder:

hishighnessrests1a.jpg

Merry Man Underfoot was my first Pomeranian:

purdymerface1a.jpg

Thumbelina, aka Belle, is our most recent canine family member. She is all of 4 lbs, and over a year old:

tinydancer3a.jpg

Belle came to live with us after the unexpected and totally devastating death this past January 4th of my other "heart dog", Hope Leslie Jealous-Canine, who was the epitome of canine perfection. She was a champion at Flyball, could herd anything with the strongest "eye" I've ever seen, and was the most willing-to-please dog you'd ever hope to meet. Hope is gone from this world, but lives forever in my heart:

canineperfection1a.jpg

These 2 dogs came to us as foster dogs. Considering that they have been here for 4 years and are STILL completely unadoptable, I think they're probably here to stay. Annie is the dog in front, and is probably the mother of Ben, in the background. Ben is completely feral, and a fear-biter. I'm not certain that he isn't a coydog. He is totally dependent upon Annie, and so they can't be separated. As for Annie, she's a weird one. Sweet in the extreme--unless she takes a dislike to you, in which case she will ALWAYS try to attack you. She feels this way about my eldest son. Anyway, here they are:

benannie1a.jpg

That's it for the dogs.

I'm just going to share the non-corns snakes here... :p If you want to see them, just search for my progression threads. :D

Anyways, here's the "large" fur-crew.

IMG_1763.jpg

The dog is Morgan (male, 3 years old, generic labrador mix), and the two cats are Whitacre (front) and Ticheli. The kitty-boys are 4-year-old littermates and believed to be Bengal mixes.

Left to right: Whitacre, Morgan, Ticheli

Yes, they are buddies. :p

Then, the four sugar gliders.

I really had to refrain from too many pictures. I love my critters. :D
