Lyra '10 Ghost Bloodred

Wow! She is turning out amazing! How much does she weigh now? Her sister Pandora shed recently too, but I have been slacking on the picture taking. Pandora weighs 28g.

She is gorgeous, can't wait to see her after more sheds. I got 4 good eggs from her mom last year and they where all girls. Well I got 4 good eggs this year and hope to get more sweet ones like her and her sisters.
John

Wow, exactly 4 eggs again?! That's almost spooky! Are you going to keep one for yourself this year? ;) Here's hoping for more white sided beauties!

Thanks for reminding me I've been slacking on weighing everybody in. Just weighed her and she's 33g. That's on an empty belly as well. I'd love to see photos of Pandora. I think Lyra looks a little more like Pandora did in the last shots I saw John take of her.. kind of lighter and silvery.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, although they should be directed at John! Something tells me he might have a hot waiting list for those 4 eggs of his! :noevil:

Please keep the updates coming!

You know it!!

Lyra shed about a week ago, and even though I was very busy with final projects, I snapped a few pictures. I wasn't happy with those though, and since I was so busy I didn't post them.

I ended up taking some outdoor shots on an overcast day which turned out rather nice. They don't show her increasing color as much, but between the bad flash shots and the nice outdoor shots.. I think it's time for an update!

I was VERY surprised to see that Lyra now has a pink tinge!

I don't like the yellow wash of these photos, but they show the color the best I think.

Here are a few that really show off her white sides.

I can only imagine what she'll look like in a few years.. but I'm guessing it's going to be very pretty!

Extreme close up showing off her pink!

Also, if you're wondering why there is a circle of dirt around her in the first few pictures.. here is the culprit.

I was puppy sitting my friend's dog Ier that day, and he was getting into a little bit of mischief! He is just too cute not to share though.

I think his wrinkles come from the little bit of Shar Pei in him.

Alright, thanks for looking. Hope you enjoyed the update of Lyra and a little something extra..

that snake is awesome! those are some of my favorite morphs! i think they are underappreciated! i wish i could get mine to stay still long enough to get pics!!! i have a few pics, but those ones like to move alot for me!

wow! another silvery grey ghostblood female without any pastel tones. I hatched a similar one out last year. Nice to see there are more of this type out there. very nice one! keep the pics coming :)

I've been interested in Ghost Bloods for soooo long, and back in '07 or so I got some Bloods with hets for Hypo and Anery A for pretty cheap. The person who sold them to me told me that Pewters and Hypo Pewters were the only thing that mattered, and that GHBRs would never achieve the same kind of attention.

I definitely want to prove him wrong! If these guys are under appreciated, it's NOT by me. I like Pewters and Hypo Pewters, but Ghost Bloodreds get such interesting colors as they mature.

I think I'm going to need a male for Lyra. I want a real peachy guy.

But yea, Jim, she is definitely much more silvery with only hints of color starting to come in as she comes close to being a year old. I've seen pictures of her parents, and they are both pretty silver. The father went through a colorful phase I think and now he's much more muted.

I just can't wait to see what she'll look like in a few years!

A few Close ups

I know it's been A WHILE, but does anyone else have updated pictures of their babies from this clutch?
