'Matrix' Hypo

Nope, there's no known relation between this girl of mine and the Cinders (et al).

Next year will be her first year, so we'll see what comes of it.

She could have gone this year, but life got in the way and I postponed the project...

Not certain yet.

I'm tempted to pair her with a known morph of some sort and at least end up with multi-hets (potential for this trait). Likewise, I'm tempted to pair her with something 'pure' on the first go 'round to preserve/isolate this unique gene (if such does indeed exist).

Don't know...

Good luck pairing her. Thought you were trying to sell her at one time but good you kept her. You know...I have a few extra males I could send out on breeding loan :sidestep:

Maybe an ice corn or sunkissed? ;)

I did have her 'up for grabs' (posted for sale) at one time, and eventually ended up with arrangements for a breeding loan (sending her off) that I subsequently rescinded due to my fear of her being lost in transit. Sincerest apologies again ...you know who you are.

This year has been a disaster personally for me (steady run of lousy luck) and it's everything I can do to find time/initiative to care for my lone clutch of hybrids from this season.

But I'm moving here in just a couple of days, and hopefully by this time next year all will be back to something resembling normalcy.

Anyway, blah, blah, blah.

Sunkissed might be cool, though I've considered (perhaps) a Miami or my really nice Lavender motley (has a Pastel-ish character to him). Again, not sure what avenue to tread with this project.

Thanks for the offer though Jeff, and perhaps I'll be in touch next season.

Trevor

Those updated pictures are great! The "Matrix Hypo" really reminds me of the way wild speckled corn looks. Her colors go so well together! I'm glad you decided to hold onto her.

Are you really so glad? What if you discovered that this snake will soon be in the hands of a new keeper-- one who will be proving her out just as soon as humanly possible? ;)

I would hope that person would let me in on some of the babies! ;)

I think that person already has had great dealings with you, so I'd be shocked if he was so selfish that he didn't let you in on the F1s. He may have already made note of it in his 2008 lists.

Sounds like the person I know....great person to deal with. Tell him thanks for putting me on the 08 list. :crazy02:

I wouldn't count on anything until the snake is in your hands.

Well, as of this afternoon, I own the snake. I'm hoping to show you "new arrival" pics next Thursday...
Awesome pickup! May I suggest a hypo bloodred partner... and my name on the waiting list? ;)

Me too! I got to see that little guy in person a few years back and I'm looking forward to what it looks like now!

Thanks. :) I probably won't try to prove the gene (if it is a single gene) by introducing another pattern-altering gene into the mix. But I'll definitely be using a hypo. You're on the unofficial list.
