Well since I had a photo taking session today I went ahead and took a few pictures of my Mexican Black Kingsnake "Allsorts" today. She is a sweet girl and great eater. I acquired her about a month ago as a trade at a herp show...

A milestone of sorts today... Allsorts ate her first F/T cull. I had to cull a tiny hypo motley corn that wasn't eating and was in sorry shape and it had been in my freezer until this kingsnake got big enough to be able to do what I got her for... Well, It was sad to watch but also amazing in a way. I thought about taking pics, but it would have been too graphic for this site I think.

I'm not sure how it could have been too graphic to show nature at work, but I'm glad she ate the way you were hoping she would.

Well. it is a corn snake site, I'm pretty sure some people don't want to see a picture of one being eaten by another snake. It's hard to accept they don't all make it for me as it is, I tried every trick to get that corn to eat. But it somehow feels better to me that at least her existence had a purpose this way even if it was to become food for another snake.
