Hello there... I have not been on here for a loooong time... So, here are some of the promised pics of my White's Tree Frogs, and to follow, the newest addition to my family, is a 2yr10month-old Short Tail Boa (Boa Constrictor Amarali) named Sweetheart:

Sooo... I was planning to get a corn snake, or possibly a ball python... I went to the Lake County Reptile Show (a.k.a. All Animal Expo), when I was walking around the tables, this one seller came up to me, said "Here, I think she likes you" and put the beautiful boa around my neck... He let me walk around the expo with her, and I immediately fell in love with her... she was very sweet just crawling around my sholders and head, after spending 3 hours with her, I just couldn't say no.... Next thing I knew, I left the expo with not a corn snake, not a BP, but a very sweet and beautiful 2 1/2 year old Short Tail Boa... (I named her after her personality)

Thanks for looking!

Aren't those frogs like really friendly? Can you take them out and handle them and they don't go flying??

First off, I would like to thank everyone for those wonderful comments :D I'm glad you like my "herp" family :dancer:

As for you Nanci, yes, they are very wonderful frogs :D They are very calm, and don't try to fly/jump out of your hands... They can even sit perched on your sholders ;) They are very friendly and hardy, but you do have to be careful not to handle them for too long as with all frogs, because they absorb a lot of things through their skin... Best thing to do is to really wash your hands before you hold them for a bit or let them scale your arms (they like to climb :) lol)

Love your frogs! I've never really been interested in frogs, but I was looking at some the other day at a local shop and thinking how interesting they were. Yours are adorable!

As for the boa... She's gorgeous! I hope our new baby boa is that sweet when he grows up. :)

I think we may be related..This is Ms. Darwin

Don't you just love their happy, chubby smiles..:bird:

Haha, I too have not come on here for a while. I only came because E-mail said I got a new PM.

But you're lucky, an B.C.Amarali as your first snake. Boa constrictors are actually my favorite snakes. They're the most active in my opinion out of the popular ones. And they're grip is pretty tight which lets you know they're there.

Awesome snake and awesome frogs. And maybe I saw you there because I do remember a female with boa constrictor on her walking around. o_O Hmmmm...

I would like to thank everyone again for such great and warm comments :wavey: I (and my herp family) greatly appreciate them :D

THANK YOU ALL!!!!

lol, I hope so too ;) My girl is VERY sweet, even when she is in shed, she lets me pick her up without a fuss :spinner: (I had to recently, because I was giving her medicine to get rid of a parasite that she had :( but she was a sweet trooper then too!

I think we may be related..This is Ms. Darwin...and this is Nigel... Don't you just love their happy, chubby smiles...

lol :D I do love their "happy, chubby" wubby smiles :bird: lol
and I would like to add that Ms. Darwin and Nigel are also very adorable little froggily woggilies! :crazy02: lol

Thanks :) lol... maybe you did see me :shrugs: lol... I don't remember what I was wearing, but I do wear glasses :) lol

STUNNING amarali. They are fabulous boas aren't they. My boy Brutus says "how's she doin."

Oh yeah! They are wonderful! Sweetheart says that she's doin REAL good :D and she asks how's Brutus doin? lol

Very nice collection of reptiles! All your animals are gorgous!! but ya gotta get a corn in there :0)

lol :) I would love to get a corn too ;) I just have to convince Brian (my boyfriend) to let me get one... and believe you me, that won't be an easy taks... He technically didn't want ANY pets (he had bad experiences with pets when he was a kid :( ) However... he does love the froggies and the snake... so maybe... :p .. I just have to be a little more persuasive :poke: ;) lol
