The show is this upcoming weekend and we'll be packing up for it starting on Tuesday. If anyone has anything specific they want me to bring, let me know as we are probably going to be travelling light this year. NO adults, for one thing. And I'm not planning on bringing but a few higher dollar animals, as they rarely sell at that show.

Not really looking forward to that LONG drive, I have to admit........

Or I guess I should say long RIDE, as Connie tends to do most of the driving...

Hey Rich!

I'll be going Saturday and am just looking forward to meeting you and seeing your stock in person so I can make plans for next year. Really can't buy anything just yet though. See you there!

Lauren

Hopefully see some of ya on Sunday; I'm bringing my best friend's son to his first show :)

My fiancee & I will be at the show as usual.

I really just need a Lav Motley female & a Caramel or Butter Stripe male. :) So I'm crossing my fingers you'll still have them by Sunday when we get there (hunting starts Friday, so Chris didn't want to go until Sunday).

If this guy's order I am trying to process right now can get the credit card stuff straightened out, I will be sold out of Butter Stripes and Caramel Stripes, as this order took ALL of them. Bunch of other stuff as well. Sales have been pretty unbelievable lately. If it keeps up at this pace, I will certainly be sold out of nearly everything by Christmas. *crossing fingers*............. :grin01:

Change in plans Rich... if you have any normal males with some hets (nothing fancy- amel, anery, and/or hypo), I'd LOVE to meet them. I'd also like to see some candy canes, caramels or blizzards, if the normals have sold out. I assume you'll probably bring most of these along anyway... so I am REALLY looking forward to seeing your stock! :crazy02:

I think I have a couple of normals, and that's only because they hatched out after the last bulk order shipped out of here. Maybe a couple of Blizzards left. Should have some Candy Canes, but the Caramels are all gone.

That credit card thing I mentioned got straightened out and a LOT of animals went out the door today. I figure it cut an entire DAY out of my workload with the babies...... :dancer:

Let's see, last year I had a MID LIFE CRISIS SALE to put money towards buying my vette. Maybe this year I'll have to have a FEED ME SOME CRABS SALE to finance the steamed crabs fest I want to have all weekend. May even buy some coolers to haul some home with us. They have blue crabs down here in north Florida, but quite honestly, the ones we get in Maryland are just MUCH better tasting.

Darn! I should have gotten an extra table at the show! That way I could be eating crabs while I am there...... :grin01:

Well Rich, every year I've been their you had more then one table (two or three I think)...If you don't have the adults to drag along, their's a empty table for you! :)

Hey Rich,

If you're ever really jonesing, check out www.ilovecrabs.com. I've had a shipment from them and was very pleased. I grew up in NOVA and the dungeoness crab I can get out here just doesn't cut it.

Of course, you'll be getting your fix in a few days, but you can use the website when you need it.

I am intensely jealous of all of you who are going. I don't really want to move back "home," but I am envious that you'll all be going to a reptile show at the height of crab season.

I could never leave Maryland. I love blue crabs too much.

Rich, let me know if you need some suggestions on the really great crab houses in B-more.

Well I lived in Maryland my first 40 years. I think I found most of them, but sure, let me know......... While we are at the show, we run over to Gibby's right on York Road. Crabs are excellent and the location is as convenient as you can get for us.

Thanks.

Mike and I may have to try that Gibby's thing this year. I've also located a sushi bar right down the road from the hotel but when I said something about it Mike just looked at me and said "Crabcakes!". Guess we know what he'll be eating.

If Mike is thinking about going to that *other* restaurant (Michael's?), well he can send us a postcard from there.......... :grin01:

Gibby's is a carryout, so we are planning on CARRYING OUT as many crabs as we can handle back to the room. :)

Really? Where did you live? I've been in SE Baltimore county my whole life. I am now shopping for a house in the same neighborhood I grew up in, and my father as well. IMHO, B-more is a great location, though someday I'd like to have a house more in the suburbs, with a slightly larger yard and space for a nice, heated, snake building. :grin01: Where we are now is pretty much still the city, but with a bit more grass!

I think Michael's will be where we go after we drop our stuff off in the room. We would never ask you to suffer through all the "red and green" stuff again. *LMAO*

I remember you talking about the carryout, but with the room setup we ought to give it a try. We can be as messy as we want to be that way and nobody will see.

Grew up in Chesaco Park (sheesh I can't remember the spelling!), then lived in Fallston, then near Golden Ring, and finally living in Parkville until moving to Florida.
