They Are Coming!!!
I won this girl at the Daytona dinner raffle. Stephen Wagner produced her by crossing two Caramels het Hypo Amel. I believe one of the grandparents was from his "Mystery line." Stephen's best guess was Caramel Phantom, but hypothesized that Lavender may also be causing her odd appearance.
She has blue/grey eyes with red pupils...I'll double check that tomorrow. What has a yellow nose and pink cheeks? :shrugs:
I know only breeding trials will say for sure, but what are your guesses on this girl's genetics?

Um, if it weren't for the borders on the saddles progressively getting darker I would say hypo lav just off appearance, but I have no clue. With her slow growth rate I have to ask, what size and how often is she fed?

Actually the mystery line all started with Vinnie aka Vinman. Rich Hume had purchased some f-1 babies from Richie. If you do a search you will find several threads on them.
Here is a male from that line. I bred him to two females and he is proven homo Lavender & Caramel/het hypo,bloodred, amel, and anery a or b testing for that.
f-1 produced by Vinman from the hypo lavender bloodred that started this line.
The last pic is of a f-1 adult male from Vinnie's original breeding that I aquired in 2008.
I doubt that strawberry is the hypo involved in this line.

Tom, so what do you call that homo lavender, homo caramel male? Is there a name for that combination.
To look at I would not have been able to guess either. The head (eyes and nose coloration) would suggest lavender influence to me.

Are there two Mystery lines? I thought Steve Wagner's line was different from Vinnie/Rich's line. It's all the same genes, so maybe I'm wrong.
I'm certain Stephen will tell you the animals he has came from Rich.
That's a good looking Caramel Lav, Tom! I need his twin to prove her out next year.
