They're gorgeous, and super sweet, they love to just be out and around people (at least the 2 that I've got)

and yeah, I feel like I've seen this comment before....LOL

Update

Just wanted to add an update pic to the thread as Oz has grown quite a lot since his last pic on here, he's around 41.25 inches now! :)

Just adding a couple pics to update, since they were out for a photo session yesterday.

Here's Oz, growing like a dang weed!

And Xander, not growing as fast as Oz yet, but he's younger so....

Those buggers sure do grow fast. I got my boy August 2010 and he barely could wrap around a gatorade bottle.. now he is four feet and eating medium rats :,)

Beautiful boas!

Those are very cool snakes! I do have one question though; why do some boas have vertical pupils, and some with round pupils?

All boas have vertical pupils. The difference is in the lighting at the time of the photograph. If a flash is used, there's no time for the pupil to adjust, creating the look of a round pupil because it's widened at the time. Photos of boas in sunlight all have vertical pupils because of the high amount of light.

Ah I see. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for answering the question RobbiesCornField, I'm not sure I would have known the answer! But hey, I learned something new today!

Here are some shots of everyone, Xander was in shed so his were quick, but I didn't want him to feel left out. Plus, they're a little progression I guess!

WOW! :D Lovely boas!!! Oz is stunning! He looks so much like my favorite girl, it's uncanny. Does he go through crazy color changes every now and then?

Actually he does! Sometimes he's got crazy pinks or salmon colors, sometimes he's really dark tans & browns!
