(Yes, I know I need to change the calendar...)

Thanks for looking!

Oh wow, very cool, I think you can still fit some more cages in there...

SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Don't let me hear you say that!!! Otherwise, I'll go get more snakes! And Tony would kill me. LOL. Actually, I'm trying to save room, because there's one more tank we need to squeeze in there. My Dumerils boas are paired up in the big tank on the third to last pic, so we need room for the males feeding tank.

Empty spaces not good....need filling. Plenty of people here willing to help you out with that...for a nominal fee of course.

I'm just playing the waiting game... I've got 4 pairs of snakes together right now, so I'm REALLY saving the space for hatchling/birthing season. Which reminds me... I should put together pair #5...

Yikes! I can't believe you fit that all in there!

Neither can I!! LOL.
I had a LOT of help from Tony, though. He's really good about arranging stuff. Not to mention that huge tank that Marquis and Marquesa were in is now sitting on the porch, awaiting live mice and rats.

I am pretty sure it's illegal in most states to have an empty tank or viv or cage. You better fill 'em quick.

That's great that you got everything packed in there. The shelves you have the larger 20-30 gallon vivs on are the same shelves I have. I have thought about stacking them that way... right now they are split apart to make two approximately waist-high shelves, but when Tara and I combine houses this June I might set them up in the back like they are in yours.

Have you tried cleaning and watering with them set up that way? I think if I did it, I'd put lighter weight plastic vivs on the upper shelves... I wouldn't want to have to balance a glass viv that high up!

(Sorry... just thinking out loud!)

Good job! You should take Tony out to dinner for helping you!

I already did. LOL.

As far as the watering and cleaning go, I've had this rack for quite a while, and the big vivs don't bother me a whole lot. The only one that did was the one with one of my boas in it. She was getting to be a big girl, so it was heavy to take down. The others really aren't all that bad!

Do you just unplug the heat first and then pull them down??

I actually just use a room heater, as opposed to individual UTH's. Keeps the room at a nice, comfy 83-85F. The only animal with additional heat is my beardie for his 105F basking spot. In the summer, I don't even need the heater, and actually wind up turning on the fan or the AC.

I think you and Tony should come organize my house (which is all snake room....)!! Looks great Robbie.

Would you like to borrow my [future] herp room. It's completely empty except for a treadmill and couple of dvd racks.
