My new "Photo Bucket"

carol

Down with the sickness
Got everything from Home Depot, the most expensive thing was the whiskey barrel planter. I also got a roller bottom so I can roll it where ever I want or spin it for a better angle on a snake. It already got pooed in it's first day but the clean up was easy and I was able to keep going.

If Hope Depot ever has a sale on those barrels, I may do a few more with different color flowers to compliment diffrent colored snakes.
:)

One more note, I took so long to get around to building my bucket that I didn't start taking pics until late afternoon. I was also taking pics with my ancient camera and my newer one. The newer one died so all of tonight's pics were taken in very low light with an old camera. I can't wait to see the pics out of the bucket in day light with the Cannon.

DYK you could plant different colored flowers for different colored snakes in different sections around the edge! I like snakes with red flowers, and blue flowers, and pink flowers.

Thanks!

The ground cover is called Isotoma and under that is says purple star creeper.

As far as having different colors on different sides, unfortunately the snakes make the ultimate decision what side they end up on. LOL!

You just have to train them better!!

If you know how to do that I'd love an instructional thread. lol

I need to work on my photography techniques. I love the outside pics but I don't think my snakes would appreciate me dumping them in the snow that's on the ground here for 7 months of the year.

If I can set up a good transportable backdrop for them, I have a friend who would like to have me do pictures for his store. I have to be sure it's something I can sanitize between shoots of my babies and his.

I love some of the ideas I've seen here, they get me thinking. :)

so creative... I hope I pick up tips and figure out how to use them and get some of the same effects. really nice.

That looks great. Can't wait to see how the pictures turn out. My snakes never behave for pictures. Need a get a good camera. Wish I had one that takes pictures in nano seconds like the photographers from National Geographic Magazine.
