On a side note, my daughter (who is now 26 y/o) slept with her eyes open as a child--and they'd follow you as you moved around the room. OOOooooOOOOooooOOOOoooo....

According to her long term b/f, she STILL sleeps with her eyes half open, and they still follow him when he walks around the room. Apparently it creeps him out a little bit :).
 
Can't help but notice the fast food packaging in the one photo. Parenthood has hit!! Cooking? Who has time?!!

Thanks everyone.. I do have pics of him with his big sisters.. I will add them.. :)

And his toes, funny my friend thought he only had 4 toes too lol.. he flexes his toes all funny.. His dad can do the same with his.. He always brags that he can flip someone off with his middle toe lol.. That is interesting about his anatomy, thanks for asking your wife ;)

And his eyes open is a bit freaky, I have videos of him dreaming, its crazy.. We will see if it goes away as he gets older..

And I think he will be a daddy's boy too but he is pretty close to me right now.. But I have the food thats all ;) I am going to hate going back to work :(

And yep.. Fast food :( Ugh.. lol

Yeah, there definitely must be something up with their extensor digitorum longus, then. You can see here how if that muscle contracts, it will pull up all 4 of the lateral toes at once--there's not really any way for them to work very independently. If he can move his third toe by itself, there must be more separation of that muscle and tendon than usual, or maybe he has an extra muscle and tendon that goes to that toe. Cool!
 
Yeah there has to be.. I can't do anything weird with my toes other than pick things up, but they all move together lol... Very interesting.. :)

I need to take more pics with his sisters.. :)
 
Nice photos, especially of baby and sis together - congrats! I missed this thread until just now. But I will keep an eye on it for more updates.

I was just at the hospital last night cuzz the girlfriend thought her water broke, apparently they weren't 100% so they sent us home... any day now...... :)
