My ninja kittens

Why you shouldn't do drugs

I have missed this forum! It's been so long since I had the time to come on! But it's all quiet at work today so I thought I would drop in and send a polite warning message to those who think drugs are cool....

"Hmm, looks like catnip drops"..

"Weeeeeee"

"Come back little starfish, where you going?"

Haha! Excellent photos and lovely to see how your kittens have grown! I must sort out updates on my girlies

Please do, would love to see how they've grown!

Simba (the naughty tortie) is still very small but Ripley is almost full grown, she's sooo sleek and beautiful - and just a bit crazed, as you can see. Try as we might, there's no taking a nice photo of Simba. The poor girl just isn't photogenic!

Ripley and Simba have not been too bothered about us redecorating their room (although Simba is going to miss hugging the computer screen now that's in the spare room!).

However, mummy's attempt at taking up Pilates was not met with approval :/ I had to shut them out because they kept biting my mat, and every time I looked up they were glaring at me through the glass as if to say "you weirdo, stop rolling around on the floor and let us in".

Just thought I would share!

I also got a couple of hilarious videos of Simba playing in the bath. I thought she must have been chasing a spider around but no, it was empty. She is a little strange, that cat!

I haven't got good pictures of the girls for ages! Since my oldest boys came home they've been adopted by the cats, who don't want to know me at all!

Those are great pictures, especially the last one! Cats are fickle aren't they, one minute you mean the world to them and the next, well, someone else does!

I left my husband a few weeks ago and in doing so had to leave my cats behind :( don't miss him one bit but I do miss them! They don't care as long as they're being fed so I'm trying not to be too sentimental and am just not thinking about the fact I've left them with someone who can't look after himself never mind anything else :/ They're farm cats though so especially now they're grown they're tough and really don't take much looking after. Poor things caught in the middle.

I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get around the "no pets" rule with Charlie but there's a chance I might get my cats back at some point.

If you can see it, here is a video of Simba doing one of her favourite activities, playing (and washing) in the bath. Must've been the knock on the head she took when she was a baby that made her go strange.

They're looking great Janine. Our kitten Zoey which I got for my daughter has decided I'm the one for her. She's always with me and seldom with my daughter..lol
I told Rachel she could have PITA. She didn't like that too much....lol

Would anyone (everyone) mind saying a little prayer for my poor beautiful Ripley who is going to the vets again today. We think she may have a broken tail, I haven't seen her myself so I might have an even worse image in my head, but apparently there is no wound, but she's in a lot of pain which is localised at the very base of her tail and it is completely limp :(

We have insurance so I don't care what the cost will be I just hope and pray she doesn't have to have it amputated.

My girls have been through enough!!

:(

(((((Tracee))))), I hope everything is alright with Ripley and yes I will and have already said a prayer for her to be alright.

I'm so sorry to hear this, I hope she's better soon.

I will be keeping sweet Ripley in my thoughts.
After all my furry pet trauma this year I can understand exactly what you are going through. Hope you keep us updated.

Thank you, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers I know they helped! It's just a wound (never thought I would say that!!)

We'd convinced ourselves it was bad because he tail was just hanging, and obviously very very painful, just as if it were broken.

The relief is overwhelming!! My girl doesn't have to have an operation!!! Thank you all again I absolutely believe in good thoughts making good things happen!

P.S. Anyone else absolutely baffled by how you can check your cat over and over again and find no wound, but a vet can find one in 5 seconds flat??

Our neighbour (a specialist cat breeder who also used to be a vet nurse!) checked her over yesterday and couldn't find a wound either.

I bet it was all the loving thoughts being sent her way really :)

I really should update this, so here's what ninja kittens do when the snake rack is emptied for cleaning unless I shut them out of the room. Even better when Rosie joins in!
