My Wall Of Snakes

Actually Nanci, are those three seperate towers? Can you buy just one tower that holds five snakes?

*edit* You answered before I posted this. Thanks!

Nice Racks Nanci, By the Time Beacon comes home I will have to buy a 66 quart sysytem.
My new one is 32 quarts for my little babies now.

Nanci, I had downloaded the Degei program last week when someone advertised it was free. When I went to enter the info for my snakes, I could only enter 5 snakes. Did I download from the wrong place on their site?

Since my arm is stuck in a cast right now. Would you mind coming over my house and building me a rack system like that? LOL! Very nice!!

Thanks

Wayne

Ohh nanci, lovely rack!!

I'm going to try to build one in the spring....yours is definitely inspiration! It looks so neat and compact.

Yeah I am with Lauren on this one...they look great and are definatly worth looking into as an alternative to some of the other options we have been thinking of. Thanks for posting them Nanci. They look amazing!

I don't know- I have the pro version, but when I had the "old" free version, I think it let me enter over 20 animals...I finally upgraded to pro when I ran out of room, but that was just last year, and I had turtles, tortoises, toads, everything on there.

Well, I can't figure out anything about Degei. But I did see this on Wikipedia!

Degei
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Fijian mythology, Degei (pronounced Ndengei) is a snake-god. He judges newly-dead souls after they pass through one of two caves: Cibaciba or Drakulu. A few he sends to paradise, Burotu. Most others are thrown into a lake, where they will eventually sink to the bottom (Murimuria) to be appropriately rewarded or punished.

Degei hatched an egg from which the first humans came to Earth. He is prominent in the kalou-vu, the Fijian pantheon.

Write to the guy- he's been very good to deal with for me, in the past.

Awesome, up to three now, eh? I love those larger bin racks. I also like the heat cords the AP racks come with. I wanted to find something similar to make a DIY rack with vs. heat tape, but couldn't find anything.

My collection is outgrowing my two AP racks, looks like a third is in my future as well. How do your corns like the tubs that have more volume but less belly room? I was wondering about that.. I know my babies love to climb, but it seems like my adults get kinda lazy. I usually find them under their bowls or spread out on the floor of their tub. :awcrap: I want them to get some more exercise!

I _think_ the square footage is slightly more than a 20L, but I am not sure. Out of all those, the only active snake is Cherry, who gets up on her hammock and climbs around in her vines. I never see most of the other guys unless it's a day or two before feeding day. Except Colorado and Scout have hollow log hides, so they lay in those and peek out.

Looks Great, Nanci! It's making me want to switch to racks! And you can tell that you still keep them decorated and everything- what lucky snakes!!
