New Acquisitions: Lavender and Bloodred

Both are '07s produced by Joe Cala (Joejr14). My hypo-blood het anery died after coming out of brumation, so Joe offered me this blood het hypo and anery to take his place. Joe's one cool dude. The lavender is het amel, bloodred, and stripe. She's another daughter of Vlad, and her mom is Joe's opal stripe. I already have a pair of the same thing, but Joe and I figured that we'd split the trios, so he gave me this female to raise. :)

The bloodred is BRadley, and the lav is Jeannette. I didn't take pics of them the day I brought them home, because I fed them immediately. I didn't feel that the long 1 mile journey from Joe's place to mine necessitated much acclimation time. :grin01:

BRadley is a picture of beautiful diffuzzlement and Jeannette, well, just stunning!

As usual your making me jealous Dean...lol

Best wishes,

I am sorry that your hypo-blood het anery passed...

What a beautiful group of little new ones...I wish you the best with them:)

That's good looking out on Joe's part......It's a nice looking pair. That blood het ghost is so much better than mine. It inspires me to replace him this year.....

Chris

Very pretty! And how nice of Joe to send the lil guys..
If you look at the second picture, there is almost an illusion, that he's biting your finger. Maybe that's just me, but it's cool.

Nice babies! I especially love Jeanette! How do you know she's het stripe? I love that picture where she's upside down. For some reason, lavenders always look so meek to me.

Well yah know I do happen to have one snake left from that clutch....

Cuz Lavender Blood x Opal Stripe = Lavenders het amel, blood, stripe. ;)

Doh! I should just have a time out before I post genetic questions...I was thinking (I hate to even admit this!!!) "but Vlad's not a stripe???"

Sheesh. At least it's not as embarassing as my plot to make lavbloods...

That was pretty cool, of Joe, to offer you the li'l Blood.

Very nice to get the li'l Lav gal, to raise, too.

They are a nice looking pair of youngsters.:)

Beautiful kids ya got there Dean!

BRadley is beautiful, and ya know I have a wicked soft spot for lavs.

And Joe, that was a really nice thing to do. :)

Nice new snakies :)
Question did you capitlize the B and the R in BRadley by accident? Or is his name really Boo Radley? </nerd>

Thanks Jenn. :) It was no accident, but that character wasn't in mind when I named him. But that's a cool interpretation! He's a BloodRed. I have a female named BRenda, and I had a male named BRuce that I sold.

Well, that is a very tempting offer.....you do have really nice bloods. But I was actually thinking more along the lines of replacing him with Bloodred Ghost.

:-offtopicIncidentally, I might be interested in some of your Granites this year. I'd like to find some adults but that seems unlikely.
