The One an Only Kuro....
So earlier today i finally got my Christmas money from my aunt. So i was thinking on what i wanted and i thought about the two hatchling crested geckos that my local reptile shop.
Yesterday i was doing research on cresteds...and i was doing it just for something to do while i was waiting for my friend to come online, and i found out that cresteds are really easy to care for...the only thing is their humidity...they need 60-90% humidity which means you need to spray their enclosure 1-3 times per day to keep up humidity.
They eat crickets and fruit(all but citrus) in the form of mashed or baby food(I'm talking about the fruit...not the crickets). And i read that cresteds are starting to give leopard geckos a run for their money in being the most popular gecko in the pet trade.
I don't know what sex he/she is but I've named him/her Kyanite(K-eye-uh-night) after the gem called Kyanite. He/she is either a really dark red or red-brown in color with a light red brown spotted belly...his tail is the same color as his body and has this lighter on his tail as well. The pics lighten his/her color a whole lot none of them show his true colors...sadly.
The pics....(sorry if their blurry camera is not the best and i took these quickly so i could put him/her in his/her enclosure so he/she could de-stress and start getting used to his/her new home.)
Introducing Kyanite the Crested Gecko....
hope you guys enjoy both Kyanite and the pics of him.
