Uh, well Okeetees do have browns and reds in them...though it depends on how dark the brown is we're talking here, 'cause Abbott's Okeetees also have some black around the saddles which could be considered brown by some, I suppose.
Think it's a matter of you sticking a pic of your prospective new snake on here. Lots of knowledgeable folks could identify it for you. :)

It's a light Brown! I'm getting the Corn Wednesday!

For some completely unknown reason, that statement doesn't surprise me one single bit . . . how about a picture of the sign?! How about a phone number to this pet store so they can take a picture of it and share it with us? How about . . . oh, whatever. There's no such thing as a green corn snake. Not rude, just some easy-going goofin' on ya! Basically, the problem is that there is no such thing as a green corn snake, so we're just messin' with you. If someone at that store actually told you that, they're being dishonest with you. It's a hybrid of some type, not a true corn.

Might have something to do with you claiming to be buying a green corn snake, then mysteriously you're not buying a green corn snake, then you can't take pictures of the green corn snake, etc. etc., so on and so forth. It's called crying wolf. It tends to create a situation where you have low credibility and then, as can be predicted, you become upset that others are being mean or rude . . . It's a common occurrence on forums when false claims are made and people cry foul or point out the inaccuracies of the claims. This "green corn snake" is a perfect example.

Hopefully you live and you learn. All is not lost and the sun will still come up tomorrow.
