New gray banded kingsnake

cobained

New member
Just wanted to show off a few pics of a gray banded kingsnake I picked up in St Louis last week. She's almost 4 years old and is super tame. Not sure what I'm going to do with her, but it was too good of a deal to pass up! She came with all her accessories and tank. Anyone else have any of these?

I have graybands and I love them. They are awesome snakes to work with. Congrats on a great new addition!

Nice! I've always thought gray bands looked really nice. Do they have a similar temperament to a corn snake? I'll have to do some more research on these guys...

SUPER pick up! As with Lauren, Greybands are on my endless wishlist as well. I think you did a great job picking this one up as it looks absolutely awesome! With it being 4 years old, you've got about 16 more years of having such a beauty! :)

Thanks for all the replies! She really is a sweetheart, and the guy I got her from seemed to really enjoy her and had purchased her from a breeder as a hatchling, so I know she's (probably) been well taken care of. I had her out to watch TV yesterday and she was mostly happy to just hang out and then explore a bit, and I'll probably try to feed her tonight along with my other new snakes (I got a caramel blood and a hypo lav stripe at the repticon show in Pensacola, but haven't gotten around to taking any pics of them yet).

Gorgeous Grey-Band. I have a male, and he's the absolute best. Super docile, eats with no hesitation, but also isn't an aggressive (take your hand off) feeder. Definitely the perfect "pet" snake.

I love the Blair's phase as well. Not that the others aren't attractive in their own right, but the contrast of thick, bright orange and stone gray saddles are amazing!
