Howdy everybody! I'm Danny, from thereabouts in north Louisiana.
Gosh, I've been into reptiles since I was a tiny thing, always out catching anoles or skinks, but I got my first corn snake when I was just finishing up with middle school, as a gift from my friend. My mom was not very happy, but Louie (my friend told me later that it was short for Lucifer!) wound up a pretty loved member of my household.
Mom was smitten, so it was easy to convince her to let me get this gorgeous mostly black Mexican king, then on to a Cali king, and back around to a big ol' bloodred corn.

Life kinda fell apart after that and I had to rehome everyone while I dealt with finding a place to live and medical bills up to my eyeballs. It's been two years and things are stable again and I'm looking to get just one snake, because I really miss having them around.
( In the meantime, my fiance has goaded me into getting two rats and hedgehog and they are the sweetest, but nothing compares to the snakes. )

How y'all doing?

*just* one???? I think you already know how that's gonna end up!
Sorry that you had to rehome everyone.. I am sure that you will find lots of corns looking for homes here :)
Welcome back!

Shhhh! I'm only allowed to get as many snakes as I have tanks and that's just one, hahaha. I pointedly got rid of everything but the big 40 gal long and a 20 gal quarantine and/or feeding tank.

Welcome back! To get back in, might want to first look for something like this:

Welcome. There are some great breeders here, who also sell. And yes, they can make offers very hard to refuse, I know. Before buying, do check the BOI. Make sure you know who you are dealing with.

I think that rack that Chip showed you is a good idea.
